Set Screw
Hex socket set screws are used to secure shafts, hubs, gears, pulleys and other machine components without a protruding screw head. The internal hex drive allows controlled tightening and makes set screws suitable for applications requiring a compact and concealed fastening solution.
The range includes versions manufactured from hardened carbon steel as well as A2 and A4 stainless steel. Set screws are available with a flat point according to ISO 4026 / DIN 913, cone point according to ISO 4027 / DIN 914, dog point according to ISO 4028 / DIN 915, and cup point, plain or knurled, according to ISO 4029 / DIN 916. The different point styles are designed for various shaft and fastening applications depending on the required grip, positioning and contact with the mating surface.
This category includes set screws with metric thread, fine thread, UNC and UNF for use in machinery, power transmission systems, maintenance and industrial applications.
